Consulting tells you what to do. Professional Services is the other half — we’re the ones doing it. Most engagements fall into one of two shapes: helping an organization stand up the infrastructure they need to actually consume one of our products, or filling a security-engineering gap that doesn’t have an obvious internal owner yet.

We don’t sell hours by the bundle and we don’t pad engagements. Scope is written down before work starts, and the goal is to leave your team better off — both because the thing got built and because the people who own it after we’re gone understand how it works.

[ 01 / what we do ]

1. Grid implementation and onboarding — For organizations bringing Grid online but missing pieces of the picture. Log sources to set up, identity systems to wire in, network telemetry to expose, on-prem appliances to install and configure. The customer ends up with a Grid integration that actually reflects their environment, not a generic baseline.

2. Security engineering — Hands-on work for organizations that need a senior security engineer for a defined scope but don’t yet need one on payroll. Hardening, segmentation work, identity-system cleanup, secrets management, logging architecture, the unglamorous infrastructure that turns a security program from posture into practice.

3. Compliance remediation — Comply surfaces the gaps; Professional Services can close them with you. M365 and Workspace hardening, SSO and conditional access work, the actual click-through and configuration that turns a Master Plan into a clean scan. Customer-controlled — we don’t write into your tenant unilaterally, but we’ll sit alongside the person who does.

4. Integration work — When a Censored product needs to talk to something in your environment that isn’t a built-in connector — your ITSM, your HRIS, a homegrown system — we’ll build the bridge. Same when one of your existing tools needs to talk to ours.

5. Custom engineering on the platform — Detection content, automation playbooks, custom dashboards, edge cases. The work that turns “Grid is running” into “Grid is tuned to my environment.”

6. Physical security systems engineering — Design, deployment, hardening, and lifecycle support for physical security infrastructure: access control, surveillance, alarms, and the IoT devices that connect them. Brand-agnostic engineering for organizations running mixed IT / physical-security environments, plus pre-launch firmware, hardware, and protocol security review for the manufacturers building these products. [ 02 / how engagements work ]

Two engagement shapes, depending on what you need.

Fixed-scope project. A defined deliverable with a written scope, a price, and a timeline. Most implementation and integration work fits here. You know what you’re getting before work starts.

Block of hours. A pre-purchased block of engineering time for organizations whose work is too varied for a fixed scope. Hours draw down as we work; we send a short note when the block is approaching empty. Useful for ongoing posture work, accumulated technical debt, or “we don’t know what we don’t know” engagements.

Either way, the same operating principle applies: every change to your environment is documented, hands off if you want to do it yourself, hands on if you’d rather we did. Nothing happens without an authorized human at your end confirming.

[ 03 / who hires us ]

• Organizations adopting one of our products who need infrastructure or integration work before the product is fully useful in their environment.
• Teams running a security program without senior engineering depth. They have IT; they don’t yet have a security architect or a senior engineer with the time to do the work that the program needs.
• Mid-market organizations bridging a gap. They’ve outgrown a generalist MSP but they’re not large enough to staff a full internal engineering bench yet.
• Existing security teams who want help shipping a specific project. Their roadmap is real; they need a person to actually finish item three on it.
